“Teen Mom Star Kailyn Lowry Announces Pregnancy with Twins, Expanding Her Family”
MTV’s Teen Mom personality, Kailyn Lowry, has shared exciting news about her growing family. Kailyn, who gained fame through her appearances on the MTV series “16 and Pregnant,” recently revealed that she is expecting twins, marking her sixth and seventh children.
She made this announcement during her podcast, “Barely Famous,” where she was joined by TikTok sensation Allison Kuch. Allison, expecting her first child with her husband NFL star Isaac Rochell, triggered Kailyn’s pregnancy revelation.
Surprisingly, Kailyn wasn’t aware of her pregnancy during a recent trip to Thailand. She recalled, “I must have gotten pregnant right before I left, and I had no idea. So when I got there, I was eating everything. My face was flushed, but I didn’t think anything of it because I was like, there’s no way. There’s no way I am.”
During the podcast, the two women discussed the process of tracking ovulation, with Allison explaining how it helped her pinpoint the exact conception date. Kailyn, however, shared a different experience, stating, “Well, to be fair, I mean, this is my… sixth pregnancy, like six and seven for me. And I’ve gotten pregnant when I’m not actually… like I’ve tracked my ovulation and I’ve gotten pregnant on days that were not my ovulation window.”
Kailyn is already a mother to sons Isaac (13), Lincoln (9), Creed (3), and Lux (6), with previous partners, as well as her 11-month-old son, Rio, with her current boyfriend, Elijah.
Earlier this year, Kailyn confirmed the birth of her fifth child after keeping it a secret. She shared this news on her “Baby Mamas No Drama” podcast during an interview with Aurora Culpo from The Culpo Sisters.
In February, The Sun initially reported the birth, with a source revealing that Kailyn gave birth to a baby boy on November 20 with Elijah, only sharing the news with close family and friends.
Kailyn’s decision to announce the news herself and on her terms was a deliberate choice. After an 11-year run on the MTV show, she wanted to have control over her narrative and the information she shared. While she felt that her hands were tied for a while, she eventually decided to take the reins and share her family news her way.
