First responders who immediately arrived at Matthew Perry’s residence on Saturday did not discover any illegal substances; however, recent information provided by law enforcement sources indicates the presence of various prescription medications within the premises. Our sources reveal that authorities found anti-depressants, anti-anxiety medications, and a COPD drug in the house. COPD, an abbreviation for Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, is often prescribed to individuals suffering from emphysema or chronic bronchitis. It is worth noting that Perry had a history of smoking. The L.A. County Coroner will conduct a thorough toxicology examination to ascertain whether any drugs were present in Perry’s system, although this process may take several months.

TMZ originally reported that Perry was discovered unresponsive in his jacuzzi on Saturday afternoon, after engaging in a two-hour pickleball session at the Rivera County Club near his Pacific Palisades residence.

Insiders informed TMZ that Perry was in high spirits during the game, as he was passionate about the sport. He even established a shrine dedicated to pickleball within his own home.

Subsequent to the pickleball game, we have been informed that Perry requested his assistant to acquire a new iPhone and prescription glasses on his behalf. The assistant successfully fulfilled these tasks and returned to Perry’s home approximately two hours later, only to discover him unresponsive in the jacuzzi. Immediately thereafter, the assistant contacted emergency services by dialing 911. In addition, the assistant also reached out to Perry’s mother, one sibling, and an unrelated woman to promptly inform them of the situation.
